This site was created as part of a project by BUT MMI in Montbéliard. It explores the Mathilda effect, this phenomenon that erases women from scientific history.

Through visual and documentary content, he seeks to make the invisible visible and to rehabilitate these forgotten figures.

The project highlights Chien-Shiung Wu, a physicist whose major discoveries have been attributed to her male colleagues, perfectly illustrating this injustice.

As Françoise Héritier said: "The phenomenon is so massive that it becomes invisible." Here, we choose to make it visible.
